THE BASICS:
Born and raised in Miami, Sage is biracial and comes from an orthodox Jewish background and has lived their life as a closeted trans and queer person. Being “othered” or misgendered all their life was painful at first, but now it has transformed into a source of power and pride. It has illuminated how they can use the pain of adolescence by being seen as “other” or “not belonging”, as a means in which they can inspire and support others and be the person they needed when they was younger. Sage strives to do so by allowing their life to be a source of representation and by transforming their social media into a teaching tool for mental health and trans issues.
Before getting top surgery Sage would look in the mirror before and after getting dressed and would feel a disconnect - a fractured self image from the version that lived in their head. It’s been one year since Sage received top surgery and now when they look in the mirror, the image in their head and the one they see are finally the same.
Sage is the general manager at E.I Games an LGBT owned E-learning company (certified by the Miami NGLCC) thats primary objective is teaching leadership skills and diversity intelligence via emotional intelligence. Sage feels so honored and blessed to be exactly who they are and claims their "otherness with great pride, and confidence!
