The LGBTQ+ icon brings her unique blend of humor and wit to the exclusive event in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Miami Beach Pride
OCTOBER 25, 2022 - Continuing the tradition of stellar entertainment and contemporary
programming, Miami Beach Pride is bringing in actress, singer, comedian, author and LGBTQ+
icon, currently co-starring in the FX Television/Ryan Murphy show "American Horror Story:
NYC", Sandra Bernhard, as the host of the VIP Beach Affair. Guests can expect to see Ms.
Bernhard’s signature style of humor through an unforgettable evening of entertainment and
celebration of a unique milestone for Miami Beach Pride now in its 15th year.
Ms. Bernhard has decades of experience in television, film and on stage, having appeared in
shows including “Pose,” “The L Word,” “Roseanne,” “Will & Grace,” and many more, along with
her signature Broadway and Off-Broadway one-woman shows. She can currently be heard on her award-winning Sirius XM Radio weekly show, "Sandyland", where she discusses a myriad of
topics with notable guests on Radio Andy Channel 102.
“Commemorating this milestone required someone with gravitas in our community and Sandra
was the ideal choice and we cannot wait to welcome her to Miami Beach,” said Bruce Horwich,
chairman of the board. “She has the perfect blend of being able to entertain a crowd while still
recognizing the magnitude of what our community is currently experiencing socially and
legislatively and this will surely be a night to remember.”
Ms. Bernhard will be joined by the 2023 grand marshals, and additional talent that will be
announced in the coming weeks. Beyond the stellar entertainment, attendees will get the ultimate early access to the festival ground a day before it officially opens along with light bites, an open bar in the Delta VIP Lounge and a unique vantage point from the VIP viewing platforms for an immersive experience into the 2023 theme of “Havana Nights.”
